Turgut ERKESKIN

Turgut Erkeskin is the President of FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Istanbul-headquartered Genel Transport, a position he has held for over 37 years. Prior to his current role within FIATA, he served as its Senior Vice President. From 2010 until November 2016, he was the President of the International Transportation and Logistics Service Providers Association (UTIKAD), the leading non-governmental organisation representing the Turkish logistics industry. He was also an elected member of the Assembly of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), between 2007 and 2022
