Beniamino IRDI

Beniamino Irdi is a nonresident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Transatlantic Security Initiative within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. As head of strategic and international affairs at Deloitte Legal Italy, he is responsible for leading the firm’s efforts to assist its clients in assessing the impact of strategic and geopolitical trends on their business. Irdi is also the founder and chief executive officer of HighGround, a political risk consulting firm based in Milano and Rome. Previously, Irdi served within the Italian government for seventeen years in various capacities related to foreign affairs and security policy, including as a special advisor to the Italy’s minister of foreign affairs.
