Issa BALUCH
Issa Baluch currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations (FIATA), where he was president from 2003 to 2005; as well Bectrum Investment International LLC. In 2014, he became Chairman of Dubai-based Freight Reach Services LLC and he was appointed Chairman of FIATA Logistics Academy. He is the founder and CEO of UAE Swift Freight International. Issa is Chairman of First Hectares Capital and African Agribusiness Knowledge and Innovation Leadership Initiative (AKILI). Between 2005 and 2013 he served in the Advisory & Steering committees of the Government of Dubai, He was founder and first president of the Dubai-based National Association of Freight and Logistics (NAFL). He is a visiting Senior Fellow at Harvard University. For his outstanding services to the international air cargo industry, Issa has so far received two Lifetime Achievement awards (2006 and 2013).
Deborah BERGAMINI
Deborah Bergamini has served as MP for the Italian Republic since 2008. She is the national Vice Secretary of the Forza Italia political party and is currently a member of the 1st Committee on Constitutional Affairs of the Italian Chamber of Deputees. She is a member of the Italian delegation at Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Vice-Chairperson of the Group of the European’s People Party. Before her political mandates she has worked as a journalist for numerous natiional and international newspapers, including Bloomberg.
Reinhard BÜTIKOFER
Reinhard Bütikofer is a Senior Fellow with the Tech Policy Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). Bütikofer has been a prominent leader of the European Green Party and served as a Member of the European Parliament (2009-2024). During this time he was actively involved in committees on Foreign Relations, International Trade, and Industrial Policy and played key roles in delegations focused on relations with the U.S., ASEAN, and China, chairing the China delegation from 2019 to 2024. Bütikofer is also deeply engaged in various organizations and initiatives. He sits on the board of trustees for the House of European History and serves on the advisory board of the Global Taiwan Institute. His other affiliations include membership in the German-Chinese Dialogue Forum and co- chairing the German-Taiwanese Dialogue Platform.
